Since 1984, the beautiful Cherokee restaurant has been an integral part of the ever-evolving Golden Triangle section of Denver. Over the years, Kris Vogts and her family who purchased what was then known as the Cherokee Bar & Grill, have taken great pride in the comfortable, beautiful neighborhood feel of the establishment. The personal touch is apparent throughout: in the beautiful dècor of the cozy, intimate dining room, in the jungle of flowers planted around the building in the summer months, and the hand-painted stone tables of the gorgeous patio, with its tinkling stream, waterfall and sweeping views of downtown Denver. Of course, nowhere is this personal attention more apparent than in Cherokee’s cuisine, where Kris’s son, Darren, brings a special touch to traditional American and Mexican fare with wonderful homemade sauces and only the freshest ingredients.
